During your skydiving experience, you’ll be quickly educated on some of the most important tips and recommendations before you head up into the sky. Various centres also allow you to choose the altitude you go up into – if you want the thrill of skydiving without getting too extreme, you can opt for lower altitude jump and still enjoy the scenic benefits and action. Here are a few other tips to keep in mind during your skydiving excursion:
Wear comfortable clothing
You want to be comfortable on your dive, especially with the gear strapped to your chest and legs. The harness should also be able to fit over your clothing, so keep that in mind. Never wear any flip flops or opened toed shoes, always wear shoes that are sturdy and completely attached.
Make your reservations
Depending on the time of day, week or season, diving centres could get full rather quickly. Since you’re planning a bucks party weekend and don’t likely have the luxury of coming back at another time, always book your skydiving activity in advance to secure a spot for you and the best mates.
Take minimal items
There might not be any place in the centre to store your belongings and valuables, so leave them at home or lock them up in the trunk of your vehicle. The drop zones might not be close to the centre either, so keep that in mind when planning the day.
