BREWERY TOURS

What better way to spend the day during a bucks party weekend than on a beer brewery day tour? Whether you love beer or like to see how things are made, a brewery tour offers a unique and behind the scenes look at the process from start to finish. There are a number of breweries located in major cities throughout Australia, including Sydney and Melbourne – these day tours are the perfect break between activities and give you a chance to do something else fun during the bucks party: drink beer!

Beer brewery day tours are ideal for those who like to try local beers, too. Depending on the brewery you visit, there could be single batches or even a vast assortment of options to sip and try. For some, beer is more than just a beverage – it’s an art that can be created using a few ingredients and local specialties. Are you coming from a different part of Australia, or even the world? Engaging in a beer brewery tour gives you a sampling of what local beers there are and even some of Australia’s finest brands! If you’re visiting, beer sampling is a fun way to get to know the region and what makes it special.

In addition to the beer sampling, you’ll get an inside look at the process of beer making – there is a lot of work that goes into brewing batches of beer and you often wouldn’t realize it! A brewery tour is also a relaxing way to hang out with the best mates during a bucks party weekend and there’s the added bonus of sampling when you’re done. Here are a few considerations to make if you are planning a brewery day tour:

Age

Of course, depending on the brewery, you must be at least 18 years of age or have special permission from the brewery if younger. Chances are you’re a bit older than that if you are getting married, but that’s not always the case of the best mates joining you for the party.

What to wear

You want to be comfortable while you are walking around the brewery, so wear whatever makes you feel good. Walking shoes are recommended because you’ll be navigating the brewery and some are fairly large – non-skid shoes are ideal in case there are any spills on the floor.

Brewery tours

Depending on the number of breweries you’ll visit throughout the day, always be sure to know where the drop off and pick up is for each venue. They are usually in the same location, so there is no hassle.

Don’t overdo it

Though beer sampling is expected during a beer brewery day tour, being drunk and obnoxious is not tolerated. If the brewery representatives think you are being disruptive to the other guests on the tour, you may be asked to leave without refund. Also, arrange transportation after the tour – drunk driving is never acceptable.

A beer brewery tour is a fun and unique experience that allows the guests to relax and sip on brews – be sure to add it to the itinerary if you want something low-key!
